Terms of Service

Last updated 13 June 2026

These Terms govern your use of Teder (the “Service”), an independent app. By using Teder, you agree to these Terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the Service. This is a starting template — review with legal counsel before relying on it.

The Service

Teder matches news stories with podcast episodes that go deeper, each with a short note on why it’s relevant. News articles and podcast episodes are produced by third parties and surfaced through Teder; we don’t create or own that content.

Your account

Some features require an account. You’re responsible for the information you provide, for keeping your credentials secure, and for activity under your account. You must be old enough to use the Service in your country.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service unlawfully or to infringe others' rights.
  • Interfere with, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its systems.
  • Scrape, copy, or redistribute content except as the Service intends.
  • Misuse, reverse-engineer, or circumvent any part of the Service.

Content & intellectual property

The Teder app, its design, and its original materials are owned by us and protected by law. News and podcast content remains the property of its respective owners; your use of that content is subject to their terms. Listening links and shows are provided for your personal, non-commercial use.

Third-party content & links

Teder links to and surfaces third-party articles, podcasts, and services. We don’t control and aren’t responsible for third-party content, accuracy, or availability, and including it isn’t an endorsement.

Disclaimer

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent permitted by law. We don’t guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that content will always be accurate or available.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Teder and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service.

Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or to protect the Service.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms; we’ll revise the “Last updated” date above and, for material changes, provide notice in the app or by email. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept them.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the country in which the developer resides, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. [Replace with your specific country/state.]
